Deviled Plums

Onion Jam

| Ingredients: |
1/2 pound of plums
3/4 cup almonds
10 bacon strips
1/2 cup ONION JAM
Spicy pepper flakes

| Preparation: |

Remove plum seeds. Peel almonds using boiling water. Cut bacon strips long enough to wrap plums. Stuff each plum with an almond, wrap in the bacon strip, secure with a wooden pick and arrange in a baking pan. Heat oven to 400F (200C). Bake 0 to 15 min. until bacon is crisp. Mix pepper flakes with the Onion Jam. Serve plums with this sauce.
