Roasted artichokes with almonds

Ingredients: |
8 artichokes
1 cup finely chopped almonds
1 lemon, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 cup NATURAL DRESSING
1 1/2 cup fresh oregano, finely chopped

Preparation: |
Remove small leaves at base of artichoke and trim tips, about 2 cm. Mix NATURAL DRESSING with the oregano, almonds and chopped lemon. Open each artichoke like a flower. Divide the sauce among the artichokes and cover well with sauce. Roast artichokes for one hour turning them occasionally. The outside will be burned but the inside will be tender.
If you are garlic lover, add 5 finely chopped garlic cloves to the sauce.
